A really small me ran by. Weird.

If someone wants to make Faxman a mini-me, could they tell me first? I don't mind. It was just really weird. Like Alice in Wonderland, but without tea parties. Or talking cats.

Um, we don't have talking cats, right? Or did I miss a memo? We need memos.

I think this is the memos.

We got Faxman back okay, though. He ran into the kitchen and I managed to get behind him with a garbage bag, and then I got him in the same room as Marie-Ange and she made him disappear.

You put Mini-Me in a garbage bag?

It was the first containerlike thing I got my hands on, I didn't want him to get away again.

Marie-Ange says her drawings don't have to breathe on account of not being alive, though, so it was okay. Scrappy little guy, though.

Oh. I guess that's okay then.

Did he bite anyone's knee? That would be cool. Mini-Faxman. With super knee-biting power.

He kicked me in the shin once. And a lot of times on the wrist when I was holding him out for Marie-Ange to get rid of. I don't think he tried to bite me but he was kinda squishy, so I might not have felt it.

Mini-Me was squishy? Like Jello?

Great. I have jiggly midgit clones.

Yeah, well, if Marie-Ange animates her Xerox Boy picture once she draws it I'll have jiggly midget clones. Instead of non-jiggly life-size clones, I suppose.

Now I wonder if they're less Jello-like once they're colored in.

*blinks* Oh dear. Do you think the mini-Jamies will duplicate if you try to catch them?

The Mini-Me didn't strobe light, so probably not.

But do you necessarily, whenever someone chases you?

Um, we don't have talking cats, right?

... meow...

You turn into a cat?

Check the screen name sweetie...

"We're all mad here. I'm mad. you're mad."

I don't think anyone's mad, except maybe Mr. Logan. He seems to be mad at everybody.

Don't quote that movie. That movie is not cool.

You did not just say that...

Do I have to? Lewis Carroll scares me.

So, let me get this straight.

A Kermit the Frog production of "Through the Looking Glass" would be about your worst nightmare?

You need help, man. :)

Well, now you two have to make your way over to room 201 and clean up my computer.

I seem to have spit milk all over it.

(very lady-like, I know)

Sorry. I'll help clean it up.

Everything scares you. And yes, you have to. There's a copy in the library.

I don't want to. That stupid rabbit reminds me of a Muppet.

I don't want to.

Don't care. You are not allowed to have seen the movie (any of them) and not have read the books.

I saw this version from the 1970s. It scared me.

I don't want to read the books. I have research to do.

Hmph. Not only have you not read the books, you haven't even seen the good version of the movie.

You don't have to do it now. You do have to do it. If you don't I'll read it to you... and do the voices.

I don't want them to have voices. Lewis Carroll made scary characters.

But I guess I can't stop you, can I?

From: [identity profile]
Well, if you're that determined I won't, I promise. I think you should. They're excellent books and you can't really go around being scared of everything all the time.

Oh... have you had dreams like that?

Date: 2003-06-08 02:47 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile]
There's nothing scarier than dreaming you're being chased by a white rabbit that talks like Cookie Monster.

I'm certain there are more dangerous situations.

On the other hand, with that one you have to worry about how it was you who came up with it.
